The original tintype of Billy the Kid next to the life-size clay sculpture by Bob Diven.
“Billy the Kid” -- perhaps the most recognized name from New Mexico’s past -- posed for an itinerant photographer who captured the iconic image that is the basis for this sculpture by Las Cruces artist Bob Diven. Sculpted life-size in clay, an edition of 13 bronzes will be cast by Shidoni Foundry in Tesuque, New Mexico.
Advance orders are now being taken for the first of these bronzes. For more information, CONTACT THE ARTIST.
